Biography

Pastor Philip Okweni is the lead pastor of Bible faith Ministries located in Grand Prairie Texas, USA.
He had a unique encounter with Christ, while in his first year in college in Nigeria, which was to set the stage for an unquenchable passion in his pursuit of God. He served at various leadership positions in his student campus fellowship called “NIFES” (Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students) in Nigeria, and also as the president of the school chapel which oversaw all the Christian campus fellowships.
Pastor Philip became a minister in the Redeemed Christian church of God in 2005 in Port Harcourt Nigeria, after serving as a youth pastor for some years. Pastor Philip immigrated to the United States in 2007, and was led of God to begin the Bible Faith Ministries in 2014, after completing an advanced Diploma in pastoral studies at Christ for the Nations Bible Institute, located in Dallas Texas in 2012.
Pastor Philip is currently one of the executives of the Christian leaders Prayer interdenominational forum (a pastor’s and minister forum in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex) of Texas. He is also the current President of the North America “NIFES Associate Community fellowship (NACF), a graduate Alumni fellowship of Nigerian College Christians in the United States.
He has been used of God tremendously in the area of Faith, healing, deliverance and practical teaching of the word of God that impact wisdom and produce transforming results. He has featured in several conferences and churches as a Guest preacher across the U.S and beyond.
Pastor Philip is married and blessed with three able biological sons amidst many spiritual sons and daughters in the faith.
